Every year, thousands of dogs are euthanized in shelters simply because there isn’t enough space or funding. Many of these dogs are loving, gentle, and wonderful companions, but without visibility, their chances of finding a forever home drop significantly. There’s no shortage of love for these dogs - they just need exposure and opportunity.
This project was inspired by my friend who stumbled across an opportunity to save a shelter dog’s life. The journey started with a program called a “doggy daycation,” which turned from a simple day of fun to a foster opportunity - and possibly a forever home. Through this site, I hope to raise awareness of similar programs and inspire others to help, even in small ways. You don’t have to adopt to make a difference.
